Arc Integrates Circle’s Facilitator Service
Developers can now integrate with Arc, Base, and Polygon PoS networks to accept Circle-issued USDC.
The system is built around Circle’s hosted Facilitator Service, which verifies buyer-signed payment authorizations and submits USDC transfers on the chain. Developers won’t need to coordinate relayers, set up the settlement infrastructure, or support gas fee wallets separately.
Before payment states are issued, Circle performs transaction broadcasting, performing settlements, and screening.
The service is built upon the x402 trading protocol and EIP-3009 authorization standard which means the users are not required to follow the standard flow of trading through the wallet for all interactions.
